- Role – Mobile iOS Developer
- Type – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (with strong potential for extension)

Hippotrix is a creative app development company specialising in digital toys and games for children. We are currently looking for a software developer to help innovate and implement new products to grow our position in the mobile world. You will have solid knowledge of Objective-C and hands-on experience developing iOS apps using the Apple SDK.
Specifically, responsibilities of the role include:
- Hands-on development and coding
- Working closely with the creative team
- Contributing ideas for clients and own-brand products
- Maintaining existing mobile applications including troubleshooting bugs, optimising and adding new features
- Employ best software engineering practice
ESSENTIAL
- First or second class honours degree (BSc/BEng) Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of Objective-C
- Good understanding of iTunes Connect
- Some experience of building iOS apps
- Excellent object oriented design skills and experience with Core Graphics / Core Animation
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute new ideas
DESIRABLE
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency with a “deliver once, publish everywhere” engine
- Uses and appreciates a test driven development approach
- Understands Agile methodology
- An interest in early years apps
