Media education streams have meant an exciting time at Hippotrix sharing app development skills with young people… Hippotrix are proud to have been asked to facilitate an app education project, pooling the teams’ media education expertise and up-to date software development skills. Commissioned by West Lothian Council Arts Service and funded by Creative Scotland’s Time to Shine initiative, the project involves weekly contact sessions with teenagers in Livingston who are exploring all things digital, with a focus on designing and building app software for those alot younger than themselves!
The idea is to inspire the young people and empower them with the latest software tools, while the core group are continuing a blog diary of discussions, activity and progress of the project here
